Welcome to Laurel Hill Secondary School FCJ. A glance through these pages will introduce you to what we offer our students and indeed what they offer us in return. Laurel Hill Secondary School FCJ is an all girls Catholic school of 600 pupils and a teaching staff of 40. Since the 1840s the FCJ wish for the students in our care is that we instil in them the lifelong determination to achieve their goals.

Quality education is all-important and our excellent academic programme and the special recognition of each student's unique individuality offers the finest start in life. We nurture, challenge, support and encourage our students and in turn they 'respond' with a passion for life, a love of learning and the courage to serve others.

Madame d'Houet our foundress had spirit and zeal in the 1840s and our students wholeheartedly follow her example in pursuing the spirit of our school motto "Courage and Confidence in the Pursuit of Excellence".

I extend a greeting to our many past pupils and take this opportunity to say to you that your school is proud of you and you are always welcome back to reminisce with staff and to see the changes taking place in the school.'
